Four 10s.
Pristine.
A final grade of 10. A 10 in centering, corners, edges, and surface. When every subgrade earns a 10, the card earns GSM’s Pristine label.
Black and platinum, with the card’s design colour carried through. Pristine is awarded automatically from the recorded grades; a Gem Mint 10 with a lower or missing subgrade keeps the standard label.

THE DETAILS MATTER
More than a number.
A closer look.
Four areas. One complete picture. Explore the details that go into a card’s grade.
Balance in the borders.
We look at how the printed design sits within the card, comparing the space between the artwork and each edge.
Care in every corner.
Small bends, rounding and wear can show up at the corners. We examine each one for signs of handling and damage.
A closer look around the card.
The edges can reveal whitening, chips and other wear. We inspect the perimeter on both the front and back.
Details beyond the artwork.
Scratches, print marks, dents and creases can affect the surface. We examine both sides of the card for these details.
